Accessing Street Finder by a URL Request

Street Finder allows for a request by URL. This functionality was added to help accommodate the development of custom third party applications which may need to request data from Street Finder.

To make a URL request from Street Finder, the URL must be of the following format: http://206.74.144.9/streetfinder/Streetnames.htmStreetNames.aspx?Cmd=streetnames&County=<CountyID>&Street=<StreetName>&Municipality=<MunicipalityName>. (Municipality is recommended, but not required).

For example, a request for Horry County, Conway Municipality, and Street Name of Maplewood is as follows: http://206.74.144.9/streetfinder/Streetnames.htmStreetNames.aspx?Cmd=streetnames&County=26&Street=Maplewood&Municipality=Conway

This URL should return 1 of the following results:
  • Our records indicate the road you have selected is maintained by SCDOT.
  • Our records indicate the road you have selected is not maintained by SCDOT.
  • There are multiple road names in this municipality matching this road name. Please use the standard Street Finder view to visually check for your road.
  • Our records indicate that the road you have selected does not exist in our system based on your input.
