The State Program is administered by SCDOT and supported by state funds. Projects identified in this program are categorized as follows:

• Routine Maintenance
• Extraordinary Maintenance
• Pavement Improvement/Preservation
• Maintenance Support Activities
• Bridge Maintenance/Replacement
• Maintenance Equipment Replacement
• Rest Area and Welcome Center Maintenance
